As I have said in a past post, I work at a local radio station one day a week. I do several different things while there, but one of the things I have been doing for several months has been archiving old programs into digital form.

Some of the programs date back to the 1950's. It has actually been enjoyable and educational listening to some of these. They are a glimpse into history, just as these posting will be some day. As the recordings were done in older formats old, dusty players needed to be dragged out of storage in order to do the transfers. This old reel-to-reel player was in surprisingly good condition.
