Common blue

We finished on the salt marshes early today and was able to have the afternoon off.

After taking off our ridiculously muddy clothes (although today involved no welly rescuing!) we treated ourselves to cake, a swim in the sea and a little stroll around the reservoir. I noticed this little chap perfectly poised and thankfully he stayed still long enough for me to capture him!
