On a sunny day at Hever Castle
On a very hot day at Hever Castle, we crossed a little bridge. I immediately felt cool looking at this lovely stretch of water. I just loved the reflection of the clouds and trees in the water. In the distance there is a family of swans, delightful as they are, they were not my main subject for the day.
Hever is a 13th century castle, once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. The 125 acres of gardens are beautiful, with both parkland and formal gardens. I particularly enjoyed walking in the magnificent Italian gardens with its pergolas filled with many roses and clematis.
