A few days ago I blipped a crocosmia bush in the evening light. That variety is more orangey. This one is the vibrant colour you see.

It was a quiet moment first thing in what became a busy day with announcements about my appointment as permanent CEO and National Convener of Children's Hearings Scotland.

Still, was back home just in time to cut the grass before it got too late!
