What's in a name?

Had a grim morning fitting another layer of insulation in the loft. Apart from working in a Chinese coal mine this must be one of the worst jobs.

Desperately needed some fresh air to clear the tubes so went for a steady 30 miles on the bike through the quiet lanes of rural 'over wyre'.

There are some bizarre road names in this area, i think somebody is 'havin' a laugh'

There is a story behind the naming of this road but i haven't a clue what it is.
Maybe Ashton Cottages is a home for Rubbish bakers.
