Hogging the midnight snack

First blip of our regular midnight guest.

There'as at least two hedgehogs in the garden, once they were squaring for a fight with an unbelievable noise. They are really placid and let humans come close and even touch them, which is really weird for wiild animals! I suppose they are somewhat smug about their in-built defence mechanism - I read that hedgehogs can stay balled for hours on end and not get tired. Fascinating creatures.
