A walk in the Peak

Took the opportunity to go for a walk in the Peak today as the forecast is pretty average for the rest of the weekend. Set off over Strines - the Allez Le Tour in the farmer's field is now being harvested, shame! But still lots of bunting and yellow bikes around, and messages on the roads.
We did a lovely walk from Baslow ( after coffee and a bacon buttie ), up and around past the Chatsworth Estate, and back through the grounds. The book said 8 - 9 miles but my legs said 10 ( including a path diversion ). It was a trifle hot & humid, but the half in the Devonshire Arms at the end was a reviver...
Played with shutter speeds at the cascade and one of the weirs - I'm getting there... But follies, edges, gates and reflections all available for blipping...
