A butterfly!

Look what I found sunbathing on a cone flower! A huge butterfly. Aside from a couple of small white butterflies I blipped over a year ago, this is my first colorful one.
I had stopped at my parents house after leaving the car dealer where I had to have my oil changed. My mom was asking about a perennial that might be tall enough to go behind her cone flowers and I saw this butterfly sitting there on the top of the flower. I ran for my phone and hoped it wouldn't fly off. It stayed there even when I got close with the phone to take the picture. My mom said that the butterflies really seem to like the cone flowers because they are always there.

I love the way the sun is hitting the butterfly and making it almost glow. It looks even better on large.
