Hello Armadillo

Littleman actually took this because I didn't have my camera with me...we found this funny little critter running about alongside the road near our house on our way home today :0)

A bit of a disappointing day, we visited the plastic surgeon who told me that littleman was never going to grow hair on the big scar on his head....a mum's determination apparently isn't enough to make hair grow :0)
He described the surgical process that would be required to actually make the scar disappear and then, just in case we might be crazy enough to consider doing it, he told me he didn't recommend it (at this age)....good thing, because littleman was certainly not planning on starting down that road.

I don't think the scar bothers him except when strangers come up and ask about it, for one, he's shy so strangers talking to him is not fun, and he doesn't really like to hear the story being told, can't say I blame him. I try to smile and stick with a one sentence reply. His orthopedic surgeon told him he should say he fought a shark and won LOL

Just a small set back though and as I watched him climbing over the sheep gate this evening and running back up to the house I knew I was so very grateful to see him just running and climbing and being a boy :0)
