Phalen Beach

On a whim, we decided to bike to the beach with our neighbors. We packed a lunch and brought some drinks. Since we biked, I pulled the cooler in the Burley along with two forty pound kids, my camera bag and our towels. It was the hardest bike ride I've ever gone on. Every slope was a challenge. Every hill required me to get off and push and still struggled to push the bike. Another neighbor later asked why I didn't have the kids get out and walk up the hills. Why indeed. Regardless, it was a great work out and we had fun at the beach.
