Now It’s Winter!

Castle Hill Peak, the same as yesterday, but in a different mood. The sight was very strange. Down here was darkly overcast, with a hard frost and murky grey fog, while up there the sun was shining and there was blue sky. Not for long though. Soon it was snowing here and there.

Our snow didn’t amount to anything. Nevertheless, just in case, I spent a couple of hours outside bringing in a large quantity of firewood, putting rake and shovel on the veranda, carrying water to the greenhouse to water the plants and have some in reserve. I prepared a pot and planted late anemones, and did various other things in preparation for snow. Now no snow, but it has been a cold day.
