Seal Sanctuary

Took a visit to the seal sanctuary at Gweek where they rescue injured seals and which they eventually release back into the wild.

Some seals are too damaged to return due to psycological problems and these remain at the sanctuary.
It is a lovely place to go - they have penguins and otters as well as crabs and starfish for the children to see and touch.

Photographically it is not ideal as the holding pens are concrete and it does not provide a realistic environment for photography. I managed to catch this one in the water and love his expression..
