The photo tells the reason this Blip is being published a day late!

Philip's niece spent the evening with us and we sorted out all those half empty bottles that accumulate over the years. 'Williams' schnapps - or Willie as it is known in Austria - was a favourite 'aprés ski' or 'digestif' on our Austrian ski holidays. This bottle cost €19.90 several years ago in Obergurgl and we toasted Philip last night as we made a dent in the second half of the bottle!

We always found it amazing that the pears are grown inside the bottle although I have yet to actually see a pear tree covered in bottles.
