Simple Still Life

Found these carnations in a vase on the coffee table.
Dunno who bought them - wasn't me....

I lifted one out - mounted in a dark room and captured with flash to get the effect of it just floating there. No post processing in photoshop.

Fairly usual Sunday all round...until K broke the ironing board!

So yet another visit to the dump and past Argos for a new one.

What is it with K and household appliances - she's always wearing them out!

Started looking up destinations for a nice wee jaunt to the Carribean in October to use up some frequent flyer miles.
