I impulse-bought a Thai takeaway while walking home from town this evening, and blipped this figure while I was waiting for my "Phuket for two" set meal. Just think what they could call them if they did buckets, like KFC.

Anyway, I discovered that this gesture of greeting is wai in Thailand, the same as namaste in India.
