Last day of term

School's out for summer!
I had a bit of a wobble today. Ophelia had her preschool leavers' party. She's more than ready to go, and she's ever so grown up for her age. But seeing her photos in her learning journal from two years ago when she started preschool brought the tears. She was a baby. My little Ophelpots.
Grace, meanwhile, had her last day in key stage one. Can't believe she's year 3 in September, but at least she has two of same teachers. Her other teacher left today, which made Grace sad. Grace had a major meltdown at swimming tonight and wouldn't join in. She says that she is sick of people because they're confusing and she just wants time with me and her and nobody else. I think maybe she's tired and the lack of structure and the changes up ahead are a bit unsettling for her. The world can be a puzzling place.
