On the Vire....

...went for a walk along the Vire (Normandy, France) and saw these canoeists paddling under the bridge, with the St Lo Castle ramparts in the background. It was mid 30 degrees today, very pleasant strolling along the riverbank with plenty of shade from the trees that line the walk. We parked the car at Candol, walked for an hour into St Lo and then ate a leisurely lunch and walked back. A lovely day.
