The sunset after the rain

We heard the repeated growls of approaching thunder this evening for about half-an-hour, then satellite TV cut out, and then we had a downpour of quite large hailstones. This was at 8pm - then there was nothing else! It's now 10.30 and we have had no more storms - although they were predicted to be almost constant until about 5 in the morning. And there was a lovely sunset after the hail :-)

Have been watching the reports about the passenger airliner that was shot down over Ukraine. Words just fail you, don't they? So sorry for everyone caught up in this totally shocking act of violence.
