After our inexpert attempts last night to remove a big juicy tick from Stella's neck, I'm glad to say she is now tick-free. We visited the vet this afternoon to have the mouthparts of the disgusting beast removed. We now have a handy little implement called an Otom tick remover, tweezers and brute force are not to be recommended.
