island getaway

Block Island. 12 miles of glorious sunshine and roller coaster swell on the ferry. 1 great lunch spot complete with hammock, giant hula hoops and bowls of tomatoes and avocados ripening outside in the sunshine. Ice cream. Sand so hot you had to run. Waves so big you had to jump. Live music, beach umbrellas. (more) Ice cream. Smooth sailing home and that happy tired feeling you get at the end of a great day.
