Shady venture

Time spent in Falkland in Fife this afternoon and part of that hovering around this ice cream vendor. I don't think he cycled very far as it belongs to a shop across the road from where it was parked but as a marketing strategy it certainly seemed to work. Even I bought one.

The building hidden behind his umbrella is Falkland Palace, managed by the National Trust for Scotland it was the country residence of the Stuart monarchs for 200 years and a favourite of Mary Queen of Scots.

I don't think there was an ice cream vendor around at that time.
