Blessing of the Fleet...Nelson

Today we went with friends to The Annual" Blessing of the Fleet"...
Hundreds of people lined the Pier while fishing and other boats
gathered offshore for the moving ceremony,with a blessing,poem,choirs,a lone
Scottish bagpipe and a wreath of flowers thrown into the sea, in remembrance of all those who never returned.......
The service was very poignant and emotional on a beautiful winters day....
