Umbrellas

The well-prepared audience for a Jools Holland concert in the Quarry Park - the rain wasn't too heavy or too persistent and certainly didn't seem to take the edge off the event. I was there covering the event for Shrewsbury Today magazine (event photos here if you'd like to see them). The temptation is strong with this picture to do a 'typical British summer' type of comment, except of course that this summer, so far, has not been one of those grey and cold ones - however having said that it is almost the start of the school holidays, which traditionally have a Glastonbury-esque power to summon rainclouds.
