the republic morning...

today is India's 61st republic day and hence the holiday. went out for a morning shoot with a few friends from my and farside's office...but the place we ended up at, was totally uninspiring - at least to me...but the breakfast that we had around the corner under the tree was delicious - cheap, hot and tasty...on the way back, we saw this long queue of kids on the road - they were probably going to their school to attend the republic day functions...I remember we used to have special programs, parades, cultural programs...not to forget the special laddoos (sweet) that was distributed to kids in school...anyway, we decided to pull the car over and click a few pictures...but the kids were fast...within 5 minutes, the entire queue disappeared around the corner...

have quite a day ahead with some work to catch up and the concert in the evening, if I can manage to get hold of the tickets this late...
