All the Fun of 'The Fair'?

Today is the start of The Glasgow Fair - the local two week 'Trades' holiday.

Tradition has it that 'The Fair' dates back to the 12th Century.

Tradition also has it that an actual fun fair sets up (usually on Glasgow Green) for the two weeks of 'The Fair'.

And tradition has it that it always rains at 'The Fair'. Always.
