Chianti

Today was spent touring the hills and towns of Chianti. We started on Castellina in Chianti, then Radda, followed by Greve. The photo was taken in a little hilltop town called Panzaro which had a nice chapel but little else. The lonely plant guidebook had promised us a butchers shop and restaurant with the best burgers in the world. Alas there was no sign of any burgers. Highlights were an impressive butchers shop / cafe in Greve and the views over the Chianti vineyards. We did buy a bottle of Chianti but haven't yet sampled it. Too busy with the prosecco.
