Between lightning & thunder, three seconds the gap

The title of today's blip is from the opening line of Rain by Martin Stephenson and the Daintees, a beautiful song that's been lodged in my head as I've watched the storms from the comfort of my kitchen.

I took hundred of photographs today - I whittled it down to four (the runners up can be seen here) and this one.
