The 8th

Just back from a very damp golf course where we could have had better weather for the Pro's day Texas Scramble. This is the approach to the 8th, not really surprising that no one hit the green since we couldn't see it! We played steady but not great; never had much chance of matching the winning score: a net 50. That team covered the back nine in level 3's gross. Unbelievable!

Think it'll be a quiet night in now, I'm dozy already after scooping down a Duck Chow Mein carry-out. Only noticed when I was leaving the place that today's Special was stir-fried fresh strawberries in sweet & sour sauce. I feel I've missed out on a culinary experience.
