Dunbar leisure pool

Had a great afternoon through at Dunbar leisure pool with the family and friends including their three year old who until now has not been the most enthusiastic swimmer. The joys of a leisure pool as she seemed to lose most of her fear, and by the end of two hours endless play, was far more enjoying herself and at points almost swimming solo.

Emerging from the pool to a rather dreary drizzly Dunbar evening, all of us with our hearts set on fish and chips for tea since we were all suffering from that extreme sort of hunger that you only really get after swimming.

After a few rather non photographic blips in recent days, I grabbed a shot of this statue which is outside the pool. It's a lovely sculpture although on reflection, I can't quite decide whether the swan is attacking the mermaid or the other way around! I am sure that's not the meaning of it at all ...
