Sheep III.

The storms that were predicted didn't reach Anglesey, but it rained this morning, nonetheless.

Met G in Bangor and drove to Llanberis to visit The Electric Mountain, a colossal hollowed out mountain that serves as a hydro electric power station. The tour, deep inside the mountain, was awe inspiring.

The start and finish of the Snowdon mountain race was taking place today and so there were runners everywhere. Visibility was virtually nil as the cloud was right down in the valley so rather them than me.

It had brightened up by the time we emerged from the mountain, so we headed back to Moelfre where O used his new rod and reel for the first time. He did a fine job of casting considering it was his first timeworn the rod and, although he didn't catch, I did, so he got to land them much to his excitement.

In an ever changing world, life in the sheep field remains constant.
