Mottisfont

Decided to have a day out today after a trip to the hairdressers this morning, since the rain had eased off and we fancied a drive.

We headed down to Mottisfont to picnic and explore the new wild wood play area. We had a lovely lunch on the lawn, the sky was very dark but no rain. We all walked and walked along the river and back and explored the new play area. It has been v well designed but possibly with slightly older children than 3 year olds in mind.

We went inside the house to visit the impressive Quentin Blake drawings exhibition and T even played the Bechstein grand piano in the Salon (while C drew a picture of a piano on a clipboard on the floor!).

A really lovely day out finished off with dinner at the Berkshire Arms tonight - late one for C but all good for a one off :-)
