Sweet......
We Had a thunder storm in the night which amounted to not a lot really, apart from one very loud simultaneous flash and bang which really scared poor Freddy!!!
I had a lazy morning making a wrap bracelet, then later Mr U&L and I went to the local nature reserve.
On the way out we had a piece of cake in the cafe, where they have two cages with breeding colonies of tiny harvest mice (Micromys minutus).
Harvest mice have a blunt nose, small eyes and small hairy ears and in contrast to other British species they are very small (50 -70 mm, weighing 4-6g) with a prehensile tail.
They were so sweet to watch rushing around and really inquisitive...I really had to blip one!
