TheQueen's Baton Relay

This afternoon I headed for Kirkintilloch to see the Baton Relay. The daughter of friends had been nominated by her school to be a baton carrier. B had been very ill last year and was in hospital for several months. With the help of satnav and a friendly local woman who gave me a lift from the carpark to my destination I arrived on time. Trouble was no one was sure exactly where we should be standing (including Mum & Dad!). I seem to be destined to miss the main event as we nearly missed B carrying the baton altogether. Fortunately the crowds were fairly thin & we were able to run to where B was about to hand over the baton. Check out the family print - not sure how the ghost of Dad appeared!
