Hovering

Torrential downpours and thunderstorms cut short my plans for today and I ended up doing office work listening to the rain outside.

Not much time for blipping either as we were going out for the evening in Cheltenham with some erstwhile diving friends. Hovering expectantly with the camera in the garden I did manage to see a few of these hover-flies as I squelched over the lawn in a window of sunshine. I do like their colours.
