Gellart Baths

We always try to get close to the culture of the place when we come somewhere new. In the case of Budapest I have suggested that we attend on of the Baths, a good bit of research went into this - amazing how many horror stories you can find if you Google something. I managed to persuade my travelling companions that this should be on our to-do list, after all I had agreed to go to The House of Terror later in the week.

Well I was right and we had a splendid time here at the Gellert Baths which is one of Budapest's best Baths. A stroll away from the apartment so most convenient. Rather too convenient was a restaurant that had been recommended to us where we managed to get lovely lunch and three bottles of wine sitting outside of on the riverside veranda. Delicious and fun - just the way to spend time with friends.
