Even The Losers

Every so often, football throws up an event so seismic that it's a wonder the goalposts don't collapse. I'm pretty certain that a month ago, no one would have predicted Brazil - the nation whose name is a byword for footballing greatness, flair and innovation - would suffer the worst ever defeat in a World Cup semi-final, and on home turf to boot, but they've gone and done it.

Still, for the first time in a long time, I can now describe Albion matches as "just like watching Brazil" and not be lying.
