I walked home from the train station today, and stopped to get a nice shot of Coats Memorial Church. My graduation ceremony was held there eight years ago yesterday (now that makes me feel old!). It's a beautiful church but it's only open to the public a couple of hours a week - but sometime when I have a weekday off I'll need to go inside and get some more shots.
The colour version of the photo is here. I had a really hard time choosing which one to post, but since I'm always drawn to moodier images the black & white won.
After my 2k walk home I put on my slinky new running gear and went for a 3k run. It's been getting easier every time so I'm pleased with my progress. I ran past some men who were on their way into the local bowling club, and one of them remarked "jeez hen, I'm knackered just watching you!". I guess I must have looked quite energetic!
