Valley of the Drac

Five of us went on the walk I'd planned, starting from St Luce (1132m). We were soon in the grasslands above the valley of the Drac where the views, flowers and butterflies were great but, since the area was pasture for cows and sheep, there were lots of insects and we couldn't sit to have lunch. We did manage to get up a 1877m summit, but the start of the route off was rather steep for some in the group. Personally it was good to get moving again, having also gone on a 6km run before breakfast to the next village and back.
