Seattle Day Trip
These two. . .
We headed down to Seattle today and decided it was time to let Alex in on one of our secret date night locations - 6/7 Restaurant. This is where Isaac proposed to me years ago and we have made a point of visiting often. We sat on the deck and enjoyed fish and chips, beer, and an obscenely large hot dog for Alex. We thought Alex would be more impressed by the fact that the hotel and restaurant is built on the pier over the water and that when you sit on the deck you are literally over the water's edge, but he did a good job of masking any excitement he might've had. We spent some time walking around the waterfront, climbed some sculptures and strained our necks staring at a ginormous cruise ship that was docked nearby. From there we took our little party downtown to First Ave and Pike Place Market. Had to hit up the Nordy's sale and our fav sushi restaurant, Japonessa, for dinner. Stuffed! Before dinner we walked down Post Ally and let Alex add to the ever-growing, ever-disgusting but incredibly unique "Gum Wall". If you have not seen a gum wall before, check out the pics from the rest of our day. . . you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. Yuck.
