Waiting For the Show To Begin

As it was my husband's birthday, we had a number of things planned.

After having breakfast in our local friendly cafe, we went to the East Anglian Railway Museum at Chappel and Wakes Colne. We were the only visitors there today, which made it really pleasant walking around, viewing the engines and exhibitions.

From the Museum we stopped off at a nice pub in Fordham (just outside Colchester) for lunch.

In the evening we went to Frinton's Summer Theatre, for the first time and saw a play called 'Within the Gates'. Very well presented and an enjoyable evening - we hope to see more of their plays, during their 6-week season.
