Two sheep and Thor's Cave

This is Thor's Cave in the Manifold valley, not far from Ashbourne. Had a nice walk down there this afternoon, very quiet except for sheep, crows and the river at the bottom of the valley. The river disappears every so often as it goes down into potholes and in the summer months just dries up or appears too.

The Cave is pretty deep I think at the back and you can have a slippy wander around the inside, it was home to all sorts in the ice ages.
