Is there anybody THERE???

Just for a change we went to Barton Grange.

The change was that we went via the A6 rather than the M6.
Navigator fed me "duff gen" once which resulted in a side trip along Morecambe seafront. But we enjoyed seeing the wet, we keep getting sea withdrawal symptoms.

Anyway, as a consequence, we ended up entering Lancaster from an unaccustomed direction. Found a Carp Ark while we visited Totally Wicked.

However, courtesy of the unaccustomed Car park we passed this stockade: securely locked. The two lasses were rattling the locked gate, followed by shouting through windows.
"Open the door please."
"Come out." etc.
"Look, the idiot's just waving at us."
I didn't wait to see if they, finally, got in; but did check the "LDHAS" notice.
Apparently it stands for
"Lancaster and District Homeless Action Service"
DUH?!??!?

Thence onward to Barton Grange for poached salmon and help yourself to a barrowload of veggies. ≥9 time out of 10 it's worth going just for the meal, but this time we actually managed to find a "Verbascum Pink Petticoats" not that the variety was important.
