Baton Relay Bonus!

The Games Lanes don't come into operation until tomorrow so I was able to drive along one on my way into town this morning. All the overhead gantries are displaying messages for those coming to watch the games. I was in town early for church and had time for a walk so down Buchanan Street I went just in time to see the Baton relay coming along St Vincent Street. The lady in the wheelchair stopped specially for me to take her photo - not the best but I didn't want to take time with focussing etc. The young guy looked a bit uncertain at the start of his baton carrying but as he started out with the relay team beside him his face just broke into a lovely smile. It was great to see.
