Kick your shoes off and relax

We visited Symonds Yat today but made the mistake of going to the west side rather than the east. We parked in a car park and walked towards the river to what we had expected to be one of the best beauty spots in the area.
Soon we came across the amusement arcade. Now I may be prejudiced but I'm really not keen on amusement arcades anywhere, but to be that close to the beautiful River Wye, and lovely views? The music was blaring out, and it was horrendous round there. We found out later that we really should have parked on the east side, and just caught the ferry if we wanted to visit the other side.
Whilst down by the river Nikonabike rescued either a baby swift or swallow, we're not sure which. It landed right by us and couldn't take off, so he caught it and held it high, then opened his hand and with a bit of a struggle, off it went.
The chap in the water is giving a canoe lesson to the other guy. Not sure which one the abandoned silver flip flops belong to.
