Moorfields Invest in Liverpool

Sorry this is not a good picture, but there is a story I want to preserve. The mayor of Liverpool has put these purple 'invest in Liverpool' promotions on loads of derelict properties. A great way to advertise and quite eye catching. This is the former Moorfields/ Yates's pub which has stood unused for over ten years. It did have a fun art installation in 2008 (capital of culture) but otherwise it has remained derelict. For me I'll always remember it as the place I met mum for a drunk to celebrate my good news in 1998 that I had gained a new job. The job was for a company called Onyx Internet and we're based in Middlesborogh. I never took the job!
