I saw a butterfly flutter by...

...well I chased this one up and down the bed of lavendar. It would only settle for a second and then flutter off again. We had stopped for coffee at a hotel in The Slaughters near Bourton-on-the-Water and I think the hotel residents must have been quite curious about my antics. We wanted to explore further in this area but the parking was a challenge and due to the lack of a space we had to venture home. Next time we will get there a bit earlier and I might even take a cushion for my knees!
