Dreamers

Last day of the Bill Viola exhibition in the Grand Palais. Very crowded, not that easy to understand all pieces of video art, but a few personal favourites as "Dreamers". It is a series of seven underwater portraits of people that seem to be asleep. Here a link to see part of it.

My other favourite was 'Going Forth By Day". Five different image sequences showed in parallel in a large room, peopla allowed to sit on the floor and watch. One of the sequence showed a street scene in front of a town house, approx. half an hour of people passing by, with an unexpected end (see here, 2 minutes only - but if you start, then go for the whole length).
