Corfu, day 5

It was the last day with the hire car today and as it was a slightly cloudy day (although still baking hot), it was off to Corfu town for a few hours. We found a cafe and had the most amazing lunch, obviously with feta cheese involved, God, i love the stuff, and then pottered around the shops passing this fortress on the way.
Still full from our lunch we dropped the car off in the evening, skipped dinner and spent the evening back in our resort at one of our favourite tavernas drinking vodka and observing the very tacky karaoke. Then the unthinkable happened...fuelled with alcohol we got up, took the microphone and belted out a bit of Meatloaf!!! I have to say it was such a good fun night, tho i don't intend making a habit of it!! ;-))
