katie came to visit today and bought me the perfect gift! here is is sitting on my new (old) antique linen chest that i picked up yesterday.

one day i will live the b&b dream.

i probably need a house with more than one bedroom first though.

i've got an extra special guest coming to stay with me all the way from zambia in a few weeks and i'm already overjoyed at the thought of making up her bed and getting everything all lovely for her. one day i'm going to win lots of money, buy a big house and fill it with interesting books and even more interesting people.
