Great day for the Irish.

This is Rory and his Mum following his terrific win in the British Open. It's the first time she has been present at one of his three Major wins.

Apart from Rory there were two other Irishmen in the top ten, Graham McDowell and Shane Lowry. Not bad for a little island.
I really enjoyed the whole competition and neglected very many duties including blipping.
